Our Story

The story of Halktan began in 2016 with our founder, Uğur Memiş, and his vision of making high-quality products accessible to everyone at affordable prices. At the time, consumers in the nuts and dried foods sector often faced either high prices or concerns about product quality. Halktan's goal was simple: to create a brand where people could shop with confidence and find quality products at fair prices.

From the very beginning, our core principle has remained unchanged: conducting business with honesty and integrity without ever compromising on quality. We carefully selected every product and meticulously managed our supply processes. To ensure the freshness of our products, we worked closely with producers, suppliers, and farmers. We chose every product as if it were destined for our own table. Customer satisfaction has always been our highest priority.

Over the years, not only did our number of stores grow, but so did our product range, operational strength, and service quality. We began reaching customers across all corners of Türkiye. By extending the trust we built in our stores into the digital world, we accelerated our investments in e-commerce.

As our investments expanded, it was not only our points of sale that increased; the bond of trust we established with our customers grew stronger as well. A customer's recommendation, a family's satisfaction, and the trust built over many years became Halktan's most valuable asset.
